State of emergency extended in Kyrgyzstan until April 30

The state of emergency was extended until April 30 in Kyrgyzstan. The President of the country signed a relevant decree. The decree extends the state of emergency in Bishkek and Osh cities, Nookat and Kara-Suu districts of Osh region, Jalal-Abad city and Suzak district of Jalal-Abad region until April 30, 2020.

State of emergency until April 30: Passes automatically extended

Validity period of issued passes is automatically extended in case of extending the state of emergency. The Republican Emergency Response Center reported with reference to the Commandant’s Office of Bishkek. Citizens who need passes can submit an online application on the portal 1312.tunduk.kg.

Date of expected peak of coronavirus incidence announced in Kyrgyzstan

Peak incidence of coronavirus is expected on April 20-24 in Kyrgyzstan. Deputy Minister of Health Nurbolot Usenbaev told at a briefing today. He noted that the ministry initially has created a group that includes scientists and advanced specialists. “They are constantly monitoring the epidemic parameters of the pandemic around the world and in the Kyrgyz Republic,” Nurbolot Usenbaev told.
