Many things have changed over the past few weeks and months, even in just the past few days! Many of us are staying home, adapting to a new normal. But for others, they are still very much on the “front lines” — whether working at the supermarkets and pharmacies, in government offices, or at the hospitals. For all of these people, we extend a heartfelt thank you!
This site is created for two main purposes: to point us to key resources and information from trusted sources, and to help us better connect with each other.
It also is a place where I will add links to the people and groups who are helping others — see the webpage http://bishkek2020.org/help/ — so take the time to visit their sites, learn about their work, and get in touch. They almost certainly will be needing our help. And even if we can’t go to front lines ourselves, we can always donate, and this way help bring some relief and encouragement to some of the most disadvantaged people in country.
This is a simple site, with just a few pages. It will probably develop over time, but for now it brings together just basic information. But your ideas and suggestions are also very welcome, in order to improve this site and bring together more helpful resources. Thank you for taking the time.
We are in this together.
